    Thanks! That's a quick response.
What are the forms we need to accomplish then?

Even though I don't have any work yet in UK, I still don't need to submit SU07 form?

I'm kind of confused about it.
I thought SU07 is needed if my spouse is sponsoring me for the financial requirement and accomodation.

The SU07 is for someone sponsoring a dependent to come to the UK, by virtue of you submitting bank statements, payslips, meeting the financial requirements and so on is proving to the UKVI that you will be supported for five years by your sponsor.

If you would like to submit the SU07 then get the sponsor to sign it and go ahead, it will not do any harm.

If in case I have submitted my visa application without the priority service.

And after a few days, I want to have it prioritized.
Is it possible to request and pay for it?

My work offered me a job in Ireland and I need to apply for Irish work permit ASAP but my passport is being held at the vsf.

I somehow doubt you will be able to switch services now you have submitted the application, having said that I have never heard of anyone trying so who knows, I have not got a clue how you would go about it, maybe call or go to the VFS office to inquire.

Yea. I'm just afraid that it might take several weeks to have it approved

I'm not sure whether the passport pass back option can be used after document submission but worth a try...not sure also if you should contact VFS or UKVI but here are some links. Good luck! :like:

will that mean you will be living outside the UK for long periods ?

    I thought of that actually.
I was about to file my resignation but my company offered me a one year contract to Irish client.

They want me to get an Irish work permit once I got my uk visa.

Will it interfere with my settlement visa?

Am I allowed to do that?

I could still go to my husband in uk weekly.
But if it will interfere with my settlement plans, then I'd have to decline the job offer.

Is it Northern Ireland or Southern Ireland you will be working in?

    It's in Dublin.
They have some offices in Northern Ireland but main office is in Dublin. And it's not part of uk.

i think there are rules about how long you can spend outside the UK during your 5 year settlement visa process. you need to research this.

Remember that Dublin is in Southern Ireland and not part of the UK.

At least if you are in Dublin it will be extremely easy to commute back to the UK, and cheap.

    Contract is one year.

I think the rule is 180 days in the 5 year period (not sure), but I think that having a job in Dublin would make him exempt as the rules seem to suggest that you can have long periods outside the country if you have a good reason to, but as you suggested it would be a good idea to get this clarified by someone who knows for sure.

The thing is, you will be working in a different country and spending most of your time there, I'm not sure how the UKVI will look at that.

Yea. I was focused more on the job opportunity.
Good thing my husband thought about the further leave to remain.

I guess I would just have to turn down the offer.
    Wouldn't risk it.
And we will be together everyday. Which is the best!!!
