Yes you can get the TB test done in your maiden name, you will still have your marriage certificate and other paperwork with your maiden/married name on to cross reference if needed or asked for.

Like I said, starting off in the UK with a new passport (takes three months for new Philippine passport in UK) will save you a lot of unwanted hassle later on in the UK.

The register at commercial partner is a bit new to me. We don't have that option in July last year. I'd just bump your post here so anyone who just applied recently can see this and shed you some light.

Good luck with the application. :)

"Register at Commercial Partner" is the UK Government's partner where you submit the documentary evidence. In The Philippines this is VFS Global and you have to pay the VFS Global fee as part of the application submission, whereas it was previously done separately.

@Anne and @Howerd , I had made my visa payment and my appointment is in the VFS Manila, with the same address as the VFS Global which i knew is the same. My concern is on the section of register at Commercial partner, when you click it, it will direct you to the VFS Global website then it contains the steps on what will you do when you get there. Other than that there is no directive whether you will register or not. For those you went on the same process, should the section turns to green or should it stay as is then proceed to print application?because from what i see my status is complete.

@JenEckz_22 Did you successfully pay for the VFS Global visit or not?

Yes I have paid for it.an email was sent to me that it was processed by worldpay including the IHS payment. My appointment will be in VFS Manila,Ecoplaza Building,Makati with my appointment date and time. Have you not encounter that section when you have done your online application?

@Timmers I have a bad memory! I forgot that you have to pay for the VFS services in Cebu (but not Manila)

The additional payment through online in Cebu is also new to me. I had to pay for it on site by cash.

@Anne you still have to pay for some optional services in cash when you visit VFS Global - be that in Manila or Cebu.

Thanks for the enlightenment guys. Maybe that's the reason why if you clicked that section it will only state the procedures you will make if you went there. Coz I was wondering why should I book an appointment again when the my appointment location has the same address as the one on that section. Also from the time I had book an appointment at Manila, next procedure was to pay for the IHS and the visa fee. My application status also states that it's complete and next is just to print it. Am I right?
Another thing, is it ok that I put only my given name and last name and not include my middle name on the online form. or its suppose to be written together with the given name?coz my passport includes my middle name, and on the online application it was only the given and last name that was being asked for.

    hello guys!
I just want to ask for your help. I am scheduled to go to the application center to lodge my application. The thing is, on my VAF4A application print out, there was a mistake on the information provided by the solicitor. My application date will be on the 17th October but then on the question Date of Planned arrival in the UK, he mistakenly wrote 01 Oct 2015. Is this going to affect the application? Is there any chance to amend this?

Firstly, the application date is the date the on-line application was made, not the date you visit the centre to submit your documents. As the documents has already been submitted electronically you cannot really change it, though you may want to add a document to indicate the error. Your solicitor should be able to advice on what else cab be done but my perdsonal opinion is that you probably have no need to worry - they will just issue the visa with a start date being the date that the visa is granted.
