you can both log on together use the same e mail address and password but only one can fill in the info and always remember to save it I saved it every time I answered a section

appendix 2 is a blank print that is completed in pen and submitted with your visa application pack supporting documents, not the electronic application

We also missed out the appendix 2 after we filed the application. My husband called the british embassy and we were advised to go to the the application centre again and bring the form. They will send it to the embassy. In my case I am in Singapore so I went to VFS luckily they accepted my Appendix 2. They helped me to send, I hope this helps!

Hi @one world - one question. Once the visa application has been completed, paid and everything, can you log back on later to view and print the appointment letter/biometric form after?

I can't recall how long you can continue to print, but suggest you use a free pdf print creator to create a file to allow you to print the forms whenever you wish at a later date.

Couple of Q`s. thought better to ask in here incase it may benefit others..

were about to click submit and pay the visa fee..

    Tab 1 - Passport & Travel Info -

Travel Information - Are you traveling with anyone ? I will be ( hopefully ) be flying with my wife if the visa is approved.. is this question directed at kids or parents ?? or should i put my own name in here ? i have mentioned later in the application that i will be accompanying Marilou if all goes well..

How long do you intend to stay in the UK? - I put PERMANENTLY this should be fine ?

    English Language Section

Q - How did you meet the English language requirement? Is this just a case of entering PASS OR FAIL ? Or we could enter IELTS Life Skills A1 - PASS ?

And lastly in the Additional Information - should we add anything here ? i feel the supporting ducoments speak for themselves so if nothing is really required would it be best just to leave blank ?

also one world mentioned earlier in this thread " 11. Visa Application Form " is this something we have to print out on the Visa4UK site once we make payment print out documents etc ??

think thats all for now.. excited !!!!

    Thx
Thx Timmers.. im now following the last few steps, but i have noticed there is a slight difference from one worlds excellent step by step guide.. after Declaration Signed there is a new tab - BRP Collection Location.. where Marilou will be will be given a BRP as proof of her leave and conditions of stay.. is this just something thats been recently added or have i done something wrong ?

It is recent for spouse applications, everyone settling in the UK for more than 6 months now has to have one. With a Marriage Settlement Visa (Fiancee visa ) you get the BRP when you apply for the first of the two FLR(M).

People have to remember who use information on the forum that it cannot always be bang up to date, I know in one worlds case he tries his best to keep it up to date but the visa application criteria is dynamic and is always chopping and changing, something people have to watch out for.

I beleive the latest arrangement, is that the visa granting entry to the UK is only valid for a short period time, if you do not enter before the expiry date, then an application has to be made to revalidate. Once arrived in the UK, you obtain BRP, which then states the whole period with which are permitted to stay in the UK.

From then on, its only the BRP that is renewed, a new updated visa will no longer be issued.

You have to collect your BRP from the Post Office within ten days of arriving in the UK on a spouse visa.

    Hi guys, one question.

On the online application, where it states: "Do you currently hold, or have you ever held, any other nationality or nationalities" section, would I need to provide a copy of my old passport? I became British Citizen four years ago and held a Filipino passport then, so I'm not sure if they would need to see this as well?

Submit a photocopy of the biometrics page to be on the safe side and mention your Philippine passport as required. You could even submit the passport itself if you wished, you will get all the original documents back if you submit the original with a copy.
