Don't worry, I didn't write a sponsorship letter as such as well, all the financial details you submit show that you can sustain her without recourse to public funds.

I'm pretty sure its not a UKVI requirement so no worries :)

The SU07 form is only for exceptional circumstances, such as visas for elderly dependant relatives or adult dependant relatives.

Just seeing this online. I submitted all the documents required plus a supporting letter from me, my parents, my landlord.

A supporting letter in your application is enough, outlining that you will be taking care of all her financial and accommodation requirements.

Here at BF we tend to go over the top a little with the documents we submit thinking it will help with the application which in some cases I think it does.

We have to be careful not to mix up what is an actual UKVI requirement and what is not. I think in a nutshell the UKVI is looking that you can provide for your loved one without recourse to public funds, that is certainly the main requirement.

At the end of the day they cannot refuse your loved one entry to the UK if all your paperwork is in order, the trick is, to present your documents in a way which leaves no doubt and suspicion in the Case Workers mind.

    Hi Ti

Hi timmers sorry for the late reply and sorry to confused you. I was just a bit worried because when my husband and I got married we declared on our marriage certificate the he is a filipino but in fact he is already a british citizen but he gained his citizenship in the uk. But now all my worries are gone he applied his dual citizenship now. Thank you for your reply. And im sorry to confused you.

No Problem young lady, they would have seen his British passport anyway on application, so you have no problems there.

    Good luck with everything :)

I feel you HgJanoras. We are on the same boat whilst applying for Fiancée visa. I was using my credit card back then until I found out that the visa fee is beyond the credit limit. Anyway, I was advised by Timmers to have my loved one access my visa4uk account and let him pay for the fees. Just keep on trying. Take note that your sponsor/partner will not receive the payment confirmation but will be sent to you (applicant's) e-mail address provided in the application.

Barclaycard's anti-fraud protection has prevented the card being accepted. Your husband's Barclaycard will have a UK domiciliary address whilst you are attempting to use it to make payment from the Philippines. To overcome this problem, tell your husband to log-in to your account and make the payment himself. Provided he has sufficient remaining credit, the payment will go through.

Thank you Markham and Anne my husband already called the bank to inform them that we are using the card to pay the visa and my husband logged in my account in uk to pay my visa but still error. Do you think there is something wrong with the cookie on my browser? Because the gov.uk is using their own cookies to protect our card and the details we are entering. Thank you very much Anne and Markham
