Here they fly east to get to the PI. Over a million persons of Ukraine descent here, they have started fundraising etc, things are getting "interesting" in that region. :ninja: Ukraine SF troops were trained in the US by the CIA for just this eventuality.

Yeah I realise that, I was taking the parochial viewpoint of a Western European.

Putin is loosing hard this not the Russia of the 70s and 80s and the javelin and stingers are doing a big number of Russia armour and aircraft.

Now he is threating nukes maybe his own forces will take him out.

Yes, from what we read, the Russians don't seem to be having things their own way.
The whole of Europe are against them in principle and the Germans have massively increased their military budget to be able to send weapons to the Ukrainians. No Russian flights can go west through Europe, except for a narrow gap which will be patrolled.
It doesn't look like the Russian people are being given correct news.
Surely, a strongman in the Kremlin will step up and do the proper thing i.e. move Putin aside and de-escalate.

Apparently, Russians in their homeland are not being told about the resistance against their forces in Ukraine.

From my point of view, it appears that Putin does not want Armageddon.

If he unleashed the might of the Russian air force on Ukraine, which he hasn't, he could have escalated far more and who knows what the outcome could have been. To me, everything that has happened so far shows that he just wants parts of Ukraine to be reunited with Russia again.

The YouTube video in post #9 is very informative and revealing.

He's running out of money and time and made a massive mistake he can't back down all he has done is unite the EU and NATO and put world against Russia.

I think this is the beginning of the end for Vlad:)

So, the big question is what will happen to rasPUTIN? Will they shoot him till he was dead? How about putting the poison into his wine - I bet he'll drink it all and says he feels fine. Will there be demands for this outrageous man, and will they get louder? How about the people of higher standing set a trap? "Come to visit us", I bet they'll demand. Oh those Russians...
