Vegan? Tsk tsk. vegans struggle with metabolic health. Look at India. Good luck. Heh. It’s not drivers that are the issue, it’s greedy truckers.
Yes. I once "read" it and for the first five pages it showed curves and more curves with a tiny paragraph saying "A leak at Soviet plant". Chernobyl was demoted so far down the list behind the behinds
But is it ? Is it more highly skilled than a bus driver ? Who decides what is a highly skilled job ? Wouldnt it be far simpler if we all got paid the same ?
Ah, but you conveniently forget the fuel in your tank and the goods that you carry come from hydrocarbons. I am surprised you overlook that. Your goods and your truck goes nowhere without hydrocarbons. Next time you have a tyre change, ponder the amount of petroleum that goes into it. No tyres, no job for truckers.
It must be wonderful to be you looking down from your ivory tower thinking that everybody should follow your advice as you wear your fingertips out on your keyboard.
We all think that our own job is the most important one on the planet. We all have our case. I do however believe that nurses should get a better deal than they do.
I never knew that fuel came from oil. How remiss of me. Didn't you work pushing "yorks" at the Royal Mail recently? Did you pedal to work on your bicycle?
Going vegan is a one way ticket to an early grave, especially if you are already metabolically challenged.
So you conveniently overlooked the fact that HGV driving is the key role you make it out to be. Your job is reliant on others to keep it running. We don’t rely solely on you guys.
Keep push trolleys and leave big vehicles to the people who have the skills and experience to do it safely.
I never overlooked it, I have always known how important the job is. When you went to the shops recently didn't you think how the food got to your basket? I didn't think so.
Nurses do very well. They earn a lot more than my wife gets as registered manager of a care home. She was called in at 7 this morning..her day off. How come i get less than £5 an hour for a 40 hour week ? Isnt that illegal?
I don't want to comment on your personal circumstances, bigmac, but that does sound a low amount to me.
