Yes. BTW Each box has a tracking number on its packing list. The packing lists are from a carbon copied pad of them, with consecutive tracking numbers. Ours ends in 900. So of course we tried ours which comes up as invalid, but so do all of the numbers either side of it. So that gives us some heart as I wouldn't think they would lose a whole consignment.
Sounds better all round now. I think our box is being dropped of tomorrow so your news gives us some renewed faith.
Don't understand how some numbers don't work? Surely its just a matter of them being inpuuting into the system.......ah I think I've just seen the possible flaw in the operation
Presumably the batch of boxes that ours is in, for some reason, didnt get scanned into the system. But, hopefully, are still on their way all the same.
Just called them... they ain't no DHL that's for sure They just passed on the details of the driver, basically told me to sort it out with him!
We dont know. LBC keep saying they are looking into it. But thats as far as it gets. But, whoever is supposed to upload our details into the LBC system hasnt done it this time. As LBC themselves (Manila) have no record of the box and they normally would have. It doesnt sound too promising eh!
Well just because its not in their system doesn't mean it won't get there. Ours got to manila without any forwarding address on. Admitidly it sat in a warehouse for nearly 3 months but it got there. Start to really hammer them after 7-8 weeks as that is when I'd expect the consignment to reach manila.
OK. Bad news. We have been told by LBC Express that the LBC collector stopped collecting on behalf of LBC on 22nd January ie 3 days before he collected our box and 20 other boxes. In other words the box has not been shipped via LBC. I found this out today from LBC in London. That is why they had no record of it or any of the other boxes in the same batch.
****, so basically he got sacked and did his normal rounds anyway. He's sat at home opening up everyones boxes as a middle finger to LBC then. So what now?
Something like that. It might be a police matter. I have an LBC packing list which acts as a receipt but I reckon it will be invalid as a source of insurance. And guess what? Cant contact the man, "Kabayan Nelson".
