It's a good job a certain member was banned.
He would be apoplectic right now

He wasn't banned Mike he was anonymised which is what he asked for.

I doubt he would apologise about Malhotra, but I say that without watching John's link personally I had always had some doubts about Malhotra and it bothered me that the guy was the main reference for a lot of stuff.

Does that mean he can read posts and contribute?

I forgot about his last depature, Jim.
He knew the writing was on the wall as he was not getting the right responses to his often insulting posts.

No not contribute under the original username, he wanted his password anonymised as well, his account name no longer exists although it's fairly obvious from the sheer volume of posts.

Anyone can read posts John, it's a public forum.

Does that really matter anymore, John?
He descended into insults, as he usually did when he did not get the right reponses he wanted.
    He did this many times.

I was just curious on the difference between banned and anoned ( a John word)

Some years ago Paul (HaloHalo) asked to be removed and anonymised, I was very sad to do that, I used the same methodology to remove John.

I think this was intended for @oss, John.

No, intended as a response to why it doesn’t matter and my reason for asking oss the question.

Actually just realised I am wrong, he actually asked to be deleted and we don't do that, that would have removed all of his content and that is not the deal when you sign up to any forum, what you post is public and belongs to the community not to me or Dom or Rob or any other admin.

It's also not technically feasible in addition to the damage it would cause to the context of so many historic posts.

So I anonymised him as a compromise.

Anyways back on Topic, I began feeling a bit rough ie coughing a lot when I was driving back from the Bournemouth Airshow on Sunday, I had already committed to doing a days driving on Monday which I did although i felt rougher than a rusty nail especially my throat Monday evening Jan said that I had a fever, Yesterday morning woke up continually coughing with phlegm and my throat felt like there was a Razor blade or house brick in it every time I swallowed, so I took the test yep you've guessed positive for Covid yet again, this time it's a lot worse for me than when I had it back in January 2022, Jan did tell me it was going around again at the place where she works and she had been 7 hours in a isolation room with a patient that had tested positive for Covid, anyways my symptoms started with lots of coughing and generally feeling rough ie no energy, followed by a high temperature, then a streaming cold complete with a lack of appetite, this was followed by the severe sore throat which returned again overnight along with the continuing cough, if my experience is anything to go by it seems like this strain could be as bad as some of the previous ones, So take care folks and do what you need to do to try and avoid this new strain that is going around.

I had what I thought was badly infected tonsils the other week, no fever no cough, I tried to treat it with strepsils it was only after about 5 days of it that I thought to do a test and there was the tiniest hint of a positive line, so I was at the tail end of an infection I didn't realise I had.

At the end of it I did have bad diarrhoea for a few days and felt a bit down for a few days but that was it, really didn't realise I had anything but a sore throat.

I tested for about 4 or five days and still got the faint line but eventually the line went away I even did a blind test where I didn't take a sample from my nose and throat to see if the tests were faulty but when I did that there was no line.

For information I'm still taking high doses of vitamin D and vitamin K2 and Zinc.

I've just been offered the Covid and flu vaccines again but I've postponed them till the end of October given I've just been infected again.

As you can all see there is no doubt's as my wife said those lines are as clear as can possibly be especially with the Duvet cover as a background, the good news is that today I'm feeling much better had the best night's sleep I have had for a week or so and thankfully seem to be over the worst of it, I had a surprise phone call from a Spanish number last night it was from our friend Larry (CF) on here, lovely genuine guy and he asked if there was anything that he could do to help in any way, thanks again Larry.

Yeah I understand that is definitely positive but just note that the instructions on the tests say that any line against T no matter how faint should be treated as a positive test.

Personally I was nervous about treating a line as faint as mine was as a postive but after doing more tests later which were genuinely negative, no trace of a line, I think I have convinced myself that I have in fact had this damn thing twice now.
