I thought I'd buzz you for ideas ......... A friend suggests a bag ....... I had looked on ebay .......... But maybe new is better ..... Considering all of us in the UK are on lockdown
Nah, take her in the store, let her choose,I knew she wanted one when she wanted her photo taken outside the big Louis store on the champs elyseese, and spent hours inside while I went off and had a coffee. We were in Toronto a few months later, I had checked and found there was a LV store there, I engineered our route so we had to walk past it, she gravitated towards it straight away, I said yeah, we will have a look in if you want, knowing I had cash in my pocket, made her day when I said get one, and the matching purse
Just tell her that Valentine's Day is for School kids who don't have a girlfriend yet and want to secretly tell someone they fancy them. That goes down well in our house.
my mrs has a good job and earns well==far more than i get in pension. If she wants bags, bling, shoes etc--she has her own bank account. I did by her a very nice business attache case for her new job--she took one look at it and pulled a face. it went back the same day. Lesson learnt. I provided the 4 bed 2 bath house, 2 cars, i pay all the utilities, monthly dd's and all council tax. She pays for all the food and my weekly beer allowance. Half her net income wings its way round the world each month.
All she wants is to go to Jollibee for a takeaway in London, but lockdown makes that a bit difficult, doesn't it! She then said she wants to go to Wales. Finally she's settled for Debenhams - lower prices ......... but wow - these phone cases may suggest the ultimate.......
Trouble with buying a bag is that unless you know exactly what she wants you are bound to get it wrong.
You might get the wrong LV though. It isn’t just the brand or the price. Might be for some maybe. Depends on the gal.
the run up to xmas 2019 the mrs went on an ebay binge for Michael Kors handbags and watches. i managed to win her a couple of each--happy days.
We don't observe valentines day in our house. We feel it's a fake holiday designed by card manufacturers and an excuse for otherwise good restaurants to hike their prices and serve a poor bulk-cooked menu. when I lived in New York, my ex-wife and I used to go to a really very good restaurant that served excellent food for a treat sometimes. One year, we made the mistake of going there for valentine's day. A real let-down. The usually expensive prices were inflated by a further third, the place was packed, it was a fixed menu for everyone, AND the food was way worse than it usually was. Never did that again. In terms of gifts, the usual flowers, chocolates and perfume are all a bit predictable. Why don't you buy her something for one of her hobbies? Or you could order a Jo Malone candle (they are very nice albeit a bit pricey for something you burn) - Crabtree and Evelyn make some very nice body creams - or some essential oils and an oil burner if she's into that. Or get her a Doxy Die Cast (google it).
i always thought a valentines card was supposed to be a surprise from an anonymous suitor. i would be less than ecstatic if my wife got one.
My wife doesnt need cards or presents on a certain day to make her feel special or loved, I tell her everyday.
