Trying to marry a Filipino girl

How times have changed. met mine 12 years ago, in the province. Manila have dragged those figures up. My question again "why marry a married women" single or not.

Are fully grown men in this day and age seriously still bothered about whether or not the woman they get into a relationship with is still a virgin anyway? How ridiculous, if that really is the case.

I would like to think that people don't bother about it either, lets face it, how many of us here (male that is) were married before meeting our Filipina partners?

i was still married to my 3rd wife when i met my partner. she told me she was still married. i had no idea of the philippines no divorce rule.
she even got a divorce here in the UK.

You have a bit of a predicament bigmac but once you come through it you will both forget about it and move on in your relationship, the thing that must aggravate you most is that there is no way you know of in trying to push things forward.

Have you considered popping over to the Philippines to see the missus and maybe have a meeting with the loved ones solicitors? That's what I would be tempted to do in your shoes. I never like getting second-hand information, I want to hear it from the horses mouth so to speak.

ive no wish to go over there--for various reasons. i talk at length most days--through fbook----i would like to think there will be an outcome sooner rather than later. it would be nice to see her again before i pop my clogs.
