I suppose we all have different ways of looking at things when we go to the Philippines. I visited many times to go scuba diving before I went on the fateful trip when I met the woman who was to become my wife and the mother of my children. I had many work colleagues who had married Filipinas and all of the men had very favourable opinions of Filipinas. I suppose this thought stayed with me over the years before I met my wife. I am like Dom in that if the chemistry is correct with a lady, it wouldn't matter if she had a child but I can understand some men not wanting to meet a Filipina with children, it is his prerogative.

That's good to hear Frank, and well that's your prerogative , i don't think you had offended anyone here. Yes get your self out of the area, that's just too impractical and unsafe for you to stay long in there.I hope you weight things right, the pros and cons of setting your self for 6 months in a small area where Everybody knows everyone may not be good as you can not get away of the constant reminders of the the past... ! Timmers, there's a typhoon now in Estancia (where Frank's currently staying). I'm so sure the connection is to slow or the worse none at all. I hope he is safe and all fellow Filipinos living in visayan region and other places that will hit by typhoon Ruby. May God protect their lives and shelter .
latest happenings a while since i wrote any thing i have been introduced to a number of phill girls and one in particular i have taken out. The only problem with her is she is always working and only allowed half a day off on Sundays so for last few Sundays we have gone out not alone as her father will not allow, so again like last one brother tags along. Regards last one been see lawyer and she is being sued for damages as thats the way the lawyer says i will get something back not all but some. so will see she has already had the summons handed to her, if i get nothing i hope it frightens her so she want scam any one else
Typhoon ruby was mostly just rain here in Estancia. it was good for the locals as it did not do any more damage like yolonda they are still rebuilding from that one but i wanted see the wind but no more windy than storms we have in uk
I am afraid by seein a lawyer, you have created for yourself a layer of extra expenses. Foreigners have no rights at all in the Philippines but to lose money or their lives in some extreme circumstances. Watch your back.
You want retribution, Frank. You are in a foreign country and you don't know what could happen. How much is your life worth? £100, £500, £2000.........? Move on, stay safe and seek pastures new
Lawyers here will tell you what you want to hear. The only person who will receive any money is your lawyer and it will be your money. Move away from the area and start again.
We may sound harsh, but we are not judgemental in your regards, we all make mistakes and here at the forum we have learnt the hard way and we know the workings of the system over there, and as a foreigner, as I have stated earlier, you, or us all, have no rights whatsoever. The system is extremely xenophobic, and openly so. You won't stand a chance of getting any money back, the laws will see to that, and as Mark said, the only winner will be the Lawyer you instructed to freely fleece you at leisure with all sorts of spurious reasons... Postponements, witness didn't turn up, Judge gone fishing, the Clerk's carabao given birth to twins, blah, blah, blah... Move on, forget the woman, do not, I repeat do not leave a forwarding address,

it to late now all ready paid lawyer so will have wait and see even if she dose not do it to any other westerner that will be something These girls seem get away with any thing. i have had enough been scamed by them. i am staying here i have nice apartment nice sea views and staying with nice family who i am spending Christmas with. Will keep posted with what happens .One thing it is only small fishing village and on my travels around i have never laid eyes on her nor do i want to.She did tx me and say she was going Manila probably try find some other jerk like me.
