You need to get to the bottom of this and find out why he is being so evasive with you, you cannot come to the UK under this cloud.

    Good luck young lady :)

Yes you are anonymous here so if you want to express your feelings then no problem. There's a good bunch of people here who will support you.

Oh thank you HaloHalo, yes, I want to believe that I'm strong because I stand up even with his very little financial support.. His land is huge and and maybe the value including the house is over 1M, that's according to him, but I don't know until I get there. I'm not after it though. I'm just simply thinking that I got a greedy partner, bless those kind.

Oh well yes, thank you very much guys, I just need someone who can throw me some opinion. My husband does not like Phils, and Filipino culture the reason why he looked down filipino but since he is married to me, a filipina, so I got a share of his rudeness, less financial support, always calculating to me over small penny, I feel I'm just a partner, not a wife.

How long have you known him Mari and how many times has he visited you in PI? You know sometimes the distance can make people feel that the relationship isn't "real". Because there is no physical side to the relationship. It's difficult to say why your hubby is acting like this but it may well change and he may open up once you're in the UK.

just tell your husband you want a first class plane ticket---and you will be on your way to share whats rightfully yours. and when you get here--get yourself a good solicitor. your husband can afford it.

Even a distance relationship can be sustaining Tim I guess. I mean with lots of Skype and chat if you get what I mean.

Yes, the reason is, my visa takes that long, my visa was denied and we made an appeal, we won in UK court. Its hard for him to travel to Phils because he is the one making an appeal in the UK. Now the Manila Embassy took my passport and medical cert, just 2 weeks ago and hopefully, I can have my visa very soon.

Mmmm I'm confused now. He sounds like he wants to be with you if he fought for your rights in court. Why did it go to court. It sounds like he had no problem reaching the financial side of the visa?

That's true, we talk everyday on skype and facebook. We talk about our short and long term plan. But he always change mind sometimes. I have no doubt he is very loving as far as TIME is concerned. We always talk. But FINANCIALLY, I have to be self sufficient, yes I do because he hates sending money because he is always calculating the remittance charge and the conversion rate, which is very small, compared to the plea of a wife who sometimes running out of budget for food.

Yes, he did not support substantial bank statement because he does not want the embassy and UK tax to know his bank accounts and property. In short, we fall short of the 18600. In fairness, my husband hired 2 solicitors, and he won.
