As I write this post I can smell something cooking.
Looks like I will be off to Waitrose to get some Lamb for dinner tonight. Why? you may ask.

Well whenever my wife cooks dried fish, I see it as an opportunity to cook Lamb. I'm really not a fan of dried fish, my wife is not any kind of a fan of roast Lamb so we use these times to indulge ourselves independently.

As William Stankespeare once wrote (Romeo and Juliet I think) ...A dried fish by any other name would smell as bad!

Call this dried fish whatever you want, Buwad,Tuyo,Daing or Dillis the smell is about the same, and Stankespeare is still correct after all these years.

I wonder if a Beer marinade would make it smell and taste any better???

My wife, in all her wisdom, decided to bring some of the dreaded stuff back, from her most recent jaunt to Phil, last month...:frust:
She has brought home a variety of bags, with different sizes of extremely deceased and severely decomposed fish carcasses... And squid....

Fair do's, she has given some away to her closest friends for which I am most grateful in their humble acceptance..

But what ever is left, seems that I will be blighted with for months to come....
Recently, as far back as six days ago, she cooked some of the stuff while I was in........... One can run, but cannot hide.....

I would rather have a swim in a slurry pit, than have the wife cook that stuff in the house....
