Hahaha well, I guess it's better to overdo it and get approved than underdo it and denied. Lol

Itinerary will be fine, I sent over thirty of those, I also sent copies of the pages in my passport with the entry/exit stamps to correspond with the itineraries. :D

Fifty days for me, for others more, some less, could be up to three months, best to plan around that.

This is definitely my philisophy too, particularly after being unsuccessul first time as the documentation wasn't enough.

I see.. Boyfriend suggested that I stop working when we formally lodge the application but i dont think it's really a nic. Idea as you said, it may take longer than what we expected.

Yes, I wouldn't stop working, no real sense in that, also it will help you keep your mind off the application, don't want to be sat around the house waiting for the decision and nibbling on your fingernails :)

It's nice that on the second attempt, you got your visa finally. :)

Boyfriend decided to get an agency to do the work and review the papers. But as i noticed, its pretty manageable to do the application on our own. I hope getting an agency gives us the edge in our application and will have the result sooner than we expect. :)

getting an agency involved will have no bearing on the timeline of the decision, do not count on an early decision, it really does vary as others will tell you here, who's to say what workload they have at any given time?

I think they can help, but you need to make sure you check what they do properly.

One big advantage for me was they did the forms, arranged the appointments and so on.

Next time we'll probably try it alone, but I still haven't done any of that yet.

Yeah. It doesn't make any difference to the actual result if you've used an agency. We used one first time and were unsuccessful, so be careful who you choose.

Are you doing the FLR Graham or is the agency?

We used the agency first time. this time I think we'll try it alone, but I'm still nervous. That first refusal left a big effect!

I can understand that, this is your second FLR right?

Yeah, because we had a Fiance visa. I'm confident with documenttion now, but the rest of it is new. I've done 3 applications now, though, so should be able to do it. Just my natural pessimism creeping in!

Hello Ella. I bet you were given a piece of paper with the UKVI link on it, weren't you? Had to go through the same thing. They don't accept 'walk-in' inquiries anymore. Tsk tsk tsk. Anyway, good luck with your application. :)

Hi @Anne! Yes, and decided to get an agency to help us out with the paperworks. Hope things goes well.

May I know how long you waited before they called you for your visa? After they issued you the visa, is there anything else that they would require from us?

    Thanks alot!

After visa application submission it can take up to 3 months. Often it is less and often considerably less. There appears to be no logical reason behind this variance, it comes across as completely random.

There is or has been a monthly table on the UKVI website stating the processing times for various visa types. You might want to search it out.

Normally, if the visa application is compliant then they would not require anything else from you once you have made the submission, occassionaly they can get back to you if they spot something they need but you, the applicant, has missed, but not always so do not count on that.
