General Question Regarding Marriage Visitor Visa Application

Yeah you would think they would at least drop a hint or word it so you would know. We will just have to wait until tomorrow to find out if its yay or nay I guess. Either way we have mentally prepared ourselves !

That email that Rick has now is from VFS. VFS have no knowledge of the result. Just that the application jas been processed.

Fingers crossed, its only taken them 12 days from receiving it to processing it and sending it back

Have you checked your junk mail? The UKBA email can land in there.

I wish we could call the application centre and tell them to peek inside the envelope for us!!!! hahahaha

Yeah I have been checking the junk mail religiously as well just incase but nothing came through only this one that landed in the inbox earlier

In my case I got the email from the UKBA first vaguely saying we had got the visa, the day after we received exactly the same email as Rick has just got.

Yes check the junk mail folder, one of these two emails ended up in my loved ones junk folder.

I still think its a joke that they dont offer online tracking for this country

Part of the problem is lack of standardisation. No set template as such. So one message can read slightly differently to another, for the same outcome.

Would it matter that they never contacted us further regarding requireing any further information from ourselves or am i just thinking to positive

For sure. Eventually they will, but always one step behind.

I mean like they have not contacted saying before we can process we need further information to verify this or clarify that as if we had everything needed in the application to get the visa already

They dont always ask for further info. Just occasionally. And when they dont, which is most of the time, the result can go either way.

Thats true as well Timmers, I wasnt sure if we would get any further response from them I just understood that the application arrived back to us and then it was in our hands to deal with the decision
