Hello again :) just want to ask,
I'm gonna bring my guitar with me when I fly. Would they allow it on the airplane? Cuz I don't want to leave it since I love my guitar. As I'm not sure if they'll really allow it or not that's why I want to know your advice.

    Thank you in advance :)

Ask the airline you're flying with I'm sure its doable, I've seen many people carrying musical instruments on my travels.

A guitar fits in a overhead luggage compartment no problem, I really don't see a problem but its always wise to check.

Yeahh I'll check it tomorrow. I'm just worried it might get damage cuz the case isn't thick and it doesn't have support.

Might be worth buying a hard case for it before you fly but I'm sure the flight attendants will be very accommodating and find a place for you where it will not be damaged.

Yeahh that's what I'm thinking but it's expensive to buy that case. Better to use that money for the airport tax than the hard case. Maybe I'll just put a note saying fragile.

Is there anything I need to pay aside from airport tax?

No, just don't get carried away with the amount of hand baggage you take on the plane given you will also have your guitar.

At the Barrio Fiesta next year you'll be able to give us a tune, and a song maybe, I used to sing Elvis songs, get practising :D

You could always take some of the visa documents in your hand luggage for if you meet an inquisitive immigration officer on your entry to the UK.

Don't worry about it though, most people go straight through and others are just asked simple questions.

If you're landing at Newcastle I'm guessing you are flying Emirates, Manila to Dubai, Dubai on to Newcastle, a good airline and they will accommodate you and and guitar splendidly :)

Newcastle is only a small airport so that is a plus, less hassle.

Really? Hmm.. Is that a cheap flight? Cuz he told me earlier it's 3 stops, Manila to Muscat to France to new castle and that's the cheapest but it will take me 22 hours journey
