No,but early Spanish colonisers noted that Filipinos were heavy drinkers.

I'd be guzzling all the time if I saw heavily armed Spanish soldiers marching into town and occupying my country.

James just posted this his school have published this as they get close to their end of term.

(these lads are all tall for Filipinos I would estimate 5' 10" to 6' for most of them.)

It was milk, he got loads of milk for a very long time when he was small Ana was obsessive about milk and it was the horrible expensive powdered milk varieties :D

But it worked and brought out his grandfathers genetics on his mum's side.

Strange, a lot of Filipinos are lactose intolerant.

I was there buying the cans of powdered milk at 900 peso or more and he went through them really quick so did Janna.

They have Spanish blood in the family quite recently as well as Malay, Chinese or Japanese and the usual mix, Ana said one of her relatives from the 1930s looked almost European with very fair skin, I think that was on her father's side.

As I've said before James' grandfather was at least 6' 3" and his two uncles Edwardo and Boni were also around that height, I met both Boni and Edwardo before they died but Ana's dad passed before I met her.

This was uncle Boni a few years before he died in his mid 80s, very lean and tall, Ricardo Ana's brother in the background by comparison is not very tall at all.
