How has he succeeded? His biggest and undoubted success was what he did regarding phonics.

His changes to the curriculum and the push for more examinations, less coursework, and learning by rote does not raise standards. He in fact ignored advice from teachers, leading academics, and research into student learning.

Free schools were a failure, there has been backtracks on academies, and the performance related pay increases are unfair and are largely biased acting to put teachers off rather than being an incentive.

Blame Cameron who instructed Gove to carry-out educational reforms which he started to do. Cameron then got cold feet, moved Gove to Justice and replaced him with Morgan whom he told to reverse Gove's more contentious changes.

I tell you who wont be the next Prime Minister and that is JC, he appears to be really digging his heels in and will not stand down as leader of the Labour party, does he not realise the damage he is doing to the Labour party?

Go for Gods sake JC, please :)

Its says somthing when its suggested that the democratically elected leader of the labour party should leave to give the chance of power to folk without any integrity who just want power this is the attitude that has disengaged folk from the politicians if we dont want honest politicians ,regardless of the fact he is a socialist then we deserve what we get as the brexit winners are about to find out:)

Ironically it's not Corbyn who should go. It's the Blairite MPs who blatantly haven't listened to their constituents and who don't reflect their views who should resign en masse. That also applies to quite a few Tory MPs and probably the 2 or 3 Lib Demmers too.

I don't like Corbyn and think he would be a disastrous PM but, on the issue of Europe, he is far closer to the voters than are his MPs.

Seems most on this forum want to see an English bigot run the country, so why not have a Scottish one instead.

I only know that "le" was in the middle because I am a Lancashire lad like yourself, Jim.
I used to go through there as a kid.
