    Well, it wasn't taken by me but it is just a few hundred yards along the coast from where we live. At high tide. The coastline around here has been taking a battering this last few days, along with the rest of the UK.

    This was yesterday afternoon.

    No. I never saw that.

    It is Douglas Promenade, by the way.

    Did Largs take a hit? I gather the western side of the UK took a battering...

    I must have fallen asleep before pressing the button :)

    No idea about Largs, it's on the Clyde Coast so I guess it might have gotten a bit bad, they have Palm's there too, Douglas was my next guess as I remember the tree's from my holidays there back in the 1970's.
