But you then have to pay in Dollars at whatever exchange rate the UK Government uses. I think if you pay by credit card there is an additional percentage fee to pay.

Correct Howerd, and if the applicant was already in the UK for example applying for the second leave to remain the surcharge would only be £500 for 2.5 years, confusing eh

so--why £600----does that mean £400 at flr ?
