Unless you believe your visa application may be particularly problematic, IMO you will be wasting your money on any sort of 'agency'...especially one based in the Philippines, when the application is to a UK government department and subject to UK rules and laws.

@Howerd is right. It's better to file for your marriage license in December instead of waiting for February. I'm sure you'll be pretty busy come February with all the final plans for the wedding. You still have to get a certificate of no impediment from the British embassy as you'll be needing that when you file for your marriage license, and you need to set an appointment with them to claim that. You can get the certificate in 10 minutes and then proceed to file for your marriage license in your respective municipality.

The document you need to get from the British embassy is now known as an affidavit of marital status. I have written about the process on a number of threads if you search for that.

    My bad, @ChoiAndJohn

Yes, I think it was actually your post that we looked at to get the appointment sorted. I keep calling it by its former name. My then fiance ended up getting a CNI from his local registry and we were told he didn't have to get it anymore since RP requires just the affidavit, but they took a photocopy of it anyway. :)

Your partner needs to make the appointment online...using the embassy website. Very simple.

@graham59 i think the best way now is tell my bf to get a certificate of no impediment when he arrive this month. and will just apply marriage licence on december. because it's. only valid for 120 days.

I am not sure, but the affidavit/affirmation your fiancee makes at the embassy, may only be valid for a certain period of time.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there's a time limitation to the affidavit. There is, for a marriage license, but none that i've seen for the affidavit. In any case, it's gonna be used for marriage license application and if you're sure to get married within 120 days from december, i suggest pushing through with the paperwork nightmare as early as you can. Bureaucracy in the country is an annoying thing to deal with.

For a shared accommodation you'll need to submit to UKVI written permission from the owner stating you can both live there, plus proof of ownership, plus an Independent Property Inspection Report indicating suitability.
