Certainly looks like @howerds way (ha remember that show?) is better. I'm. Not really familiar with how to get the best deals in the UK. I've been paying up to 2400 usd for flights from the states so coming here I thought 800 pounds was a good deal. Clearly it wasn't
I remember Howerds Way! In fact I was in Guernsey in 1988 and saw them shooting the programme. The lead actor looked at me as if I was a bit of his homosexual meat!
And yeah I've also read that you need to give about three days notice If you plan to have the sticker issued at the airport. I don't know if anyone tried that yet. @BlueberryCheeseCake is getting her cfo seminar and sticker Wednesday. We will report on how that goes.
Sorry, I misunderstood. Yes, if the passport already has a valid visa stamp on the day of the seminar then the CFO stamp will be issued. But the visa must be in date!!!!!
yeah as @Howerd says they will. Do the seminar and sticker on one day. However the visa must have started. Since our visa starts on wednesday, that's why she goes then. As to cheap prices. Ugh. That's a fair difference. I don't feel like cancelling my return flight next weekend and trying to rebook the three singles but I'll certainly be bearing it in mind for any future trips. Thanks for the info.
I was a bit worried I could not do that after what @ChoiAndJohn said. I will just send my wife a scan of my credit card and tell her to keep the marriage certificate in her hand luggage.
I wouldn't worry about what I said @Howerd. I really just did the simplest and quickest thing without really shopping around much. Starting to regret it now.
Just use skyscanner.net it really is very simple to use but keep an eye on price changes. Sometimes an agent can beat the bset deals on skyscanner by a large margin but I think that only happens if they have already reserved seats before selling them.
