I caught sight of a copy of the Daily Express (not the most reliable newspaper!) with a banner headline, relating to this programme, informing us that 75% of the British population would like a total ban on immigration, and that immigration issues will determine how they vote.

Are we really turning into 1920's Germany? We know how that ended.

I started to watch the programme but I switched over as it quickly turned into the usual shouting match. Valid points on both sides of the argument, the immigration argument only hits home when it affects you personally. My daughter recently moved house and when she went to place my granddaughter in the local infant school she found there were no places available, she later found out that around 20% of the pupils were Eastern European. I think that the British should be given preference when it comes to jobs, schools and hospitals and so on.

I did see a short clip on the show that amused me, a 17 year old Filipina was interviewed from Burnley and I just loved the broad Lancashire accent.

More Filipinas with Lancashire accents please :)

I must have missed that bit? When was that, right at the beginning?

I try and make a point of watching these types of program, purely as my wife is an immigrant. And I know the general public dont tend to give dispensation to Filipinas, as such.

It was good to see the opinion on the role of immigrants in the NHS. And the brain surgeon in the audience from Bangladesh who had saved thousands of British lives, was a real gem.

Yeah I think the young Filipina was on at the beginning of the show.

I think Katie Hopkins made the show, I don't agree with a lot that she says but she certainly fights her corner.
