The problem the Chinese have is that no one abroad will buy their crap.. We had a couple of Chinese car showrooms here..One was called Great wall.. Never seen one on the road here.
They are persistent though, and will take full advantage of western commercial (and government) greed and carelessness, as they have done in the past.
Oh, why is that ? Delete it if I've broken your rules. You want a link for THIS text...as I am definitely 'external' ?
I would have to agree with you, that's how the future was supposed to look in my head when I was a kid. And Aston's have always been some of the most beautiful cars to my mind.
I think this might be the link missing from the post by Graham that you quoted without putting a link for his originally quoted article text, whilst reprimanding him for quoting the same text without a link. https://www.wired.co.uk/article/chinese-electric-car-companies-tesla-byd-jac-motors Glad to be of assistance.
Cheers @Dave_E Edit: I tried reinstating the original but I can’t seem to do it on my phone. The full text is included in my original reply anyhow.
Tesla, in future, only available online... I caught this on the news my car radio, and can't find confirmation.. Bit counter productive I reckon, but, hey, what do I know...?
Breaking news, self-driving cars are racist: https://www.independent.co.uk/life-...-racial-bias-black-people-study-a8810031.html
While it is funny in a tragic sense, it is also probably true as it has been found that more and more trained neural nets are being trained with biased datasets, likely unconsciously biased but biased nevertheless. Facebook and the like have profiling algorithms that have proven to be biased as well, it's actually a serious issue in current AI systems.
