This afternoon, I've received a text saying "processed visa ref no.... Will be endorsed to courier..." I've read on forums that this text usually means the visa app have been denied :( How true is that? On the other hand, I've received an email from them at the same time stating the same words and another email, sent at 10 this morning, stating "your visa will be dispatched shortly", and it's from MANILvisainfo@fco.gov.uk. So at the moment, I'm really confused, but more than that, really anxious. What do you guys think??

We had one unsuccessful visa application and one successful one, and received that same text both times. Second time we got it we thought we'd been unsuccesful again, but it turned out not to be the case.

So don't read anything into it.

All we got was a text to say the application had been processed. That was from VFS.

We received nothing from the UKBA.

Then after a few days her application papers, passport and visa arrived, by courier.

i received the same message (thru text and email) when i applied my settlement visa...

a week before that i received an email message that they need a certain requirements and the original copies saying they need those immediately (need to submit in 1 week time duration upon date of the email). i was in sg, my husband was in uk, and the embassy is located in ph... we urgently send the docs from my uk to ph by dhl (without me checking what we submitted)..

after another week upon submission, i received that text message that its been processed.. after 3 days i received another text that i can collect the documents anytime.. on that same day, i informed my boss that ill be going to the vfs office.. the next day i resigned in my job... :like:

it was a positive result, so dont be nervous...

I'm sure yours will come soon. And pretty much at the most unexpected time. Actually, since receiving those notifications from vfs, I've been more anxious than ever so can't say I'm over the waiting game yet hehe but verdict is coming soon and until then I'll never be at peace haha

The success rate for Spouse visas has been very high. So statistically you have a good chance. Just leave the champagne on ice till you get your passport in your hand.
