Bigmac looks champion in his peaky blinder, I can hear the last of the summer wine theme song playing when I look at the picture :)

I hope he is sporting it for the British Filipino bash.

Cannot fathom out why the organisers of the barrio festival at Woodgate Country Park let everyone down last year .Many people (us included) turned up and found no festival. Why did the organisers not try to inform anyone, let alone offer a valid reason to cancel.

After the let down of the Woodgate festival we were put off going to the one in Lightwood Park fearing another fiasco. These festivals need professional organisation and finance, something I think the organisers of Lightwood should take on board.

That's interesting as I, for one, have already said I can find no trace of this one existing when searching online for it.

I do think it's worth people having some sort of plan b.

All I've seen is the poster put on here, and I can't even find that if I search for it.

It would be nice to have a bit more evidence that this is on.

There must be an organising committee, how do we find their phone number?
It would be great if the Barrio Fiesta is on but even if it isn't, there are so many of us and we can arrange to do something on the Saturday during the day and all get together in the hotel in the evening.
I am sure we can make it a good day no matter what happens. Glass half full :)
