You're not red at all, more like green with envy. Grow a pair and admit you're a bitter old man and seen United in the past winning almost everything but now it's City's turn. BTW you have no idea what's it like to live here permanently.
You have no idea at all. there was a out side disco just 60 meters blasting music out till 2 am very loud. Never mind at least I got to see City beat United in the first cup final derby. Precious.
I suppose you have been winning so many trophies recently, you are becoming blase these days. If it was the mighty Everton ( ) I wouldn't have been able to sleep for a week before such a momentous day . My hands were shaking too much watching them trying not to get relegated Oh how my team has fallen since the days when we were in many finals and I was regularly singing my heart out in amongst the crowd as it swayed like the waves of the sea.
You're winning trophies and will win many more, perhaps it is time to invest in a really good pair of noise cancelling over-the-ear headphones I used to live in Peel Green (near Eccles) on the west side of Manchester and there was a barman in the "local" who supported "City". He used to get the *mickey* taken out of him (to put it politely) by United fans back then. I moved away from Manchester and never got the chance to watch what happened for him in that pub when Ferguson left and United started to decline.
Not sure why I need to know what it’s like to live there permanently, but you made your bed know you must lie in it! Oh silly me I forgot, you did and missed the Champions league final. Bitterness is a wasted emotion one I don’t languish in or subscribe too.
Jim, This could be good for us? https://toffeeweb.com/season/22-23/news/43610.html Stones is a cracking player for sure
Wasted emotions stay positive and awake Envy means discontented longing for someone else's advantages.Jealousy means unpleasant suspicion, or apprehension of rival-ship. https://www.merriam-webster.com/wor...g for, suspicion, or apprehension of rivalship.
Why would Jim be envious, John - his team has just won the treble and defeated your team in one of the finals?
Read his previous post, the one in the sickly green colour, you have taken my reply to him in isolation. You need to keep it in context.
The phrase 'Green with Envy' means to be very jealous, envious. Example of Use: “Katie was green with envy when she saw that you got a new car for your birthday.”
Your text in green was perfectly in context, Jim, as was my reply John (Mattecube) is still rattled by United's F.A. Cup loss to Man City.
I I noticed John's post started to get nastier after united's Cup defeat. He honestly thought Man U would win.
Yes, you're right, Jim. John doesn't seem to be able to accept that Man Utd. have declined. He forgets that City were in decline for a long time before their present domination and Everton have been in decline for far too long now.
