You are correct Keith in your observation, my excuse is that the thread leans heavily towards general clothing and I don't put burkas into that class, more religious attire.

I dislike the Burka intensely, awful item, threatening and hateful, should be banned in the UK.

On the other hand I quite like the Islamic headscarf as worn in Malaysia and Indonesia, it allows the women to integrate into society and interact with each other more freely.

I dont disagree I remember a stopover at King Riyadh airport on the way to the Philippines and found them(the Burka) very un-nerving I vowed never to fly over the middle east again.
