Trivial fact of the day: there's a small village in Ceredigion called Llundain Fach, which translates as Little London.
Just been into London for pie, mash and jellied eels, beautiful sunny day,the place is buzzing with life
19.6 million roper a year can’t be wrong https://thesavvybackpacker.com/most-visited-cities-in-europe/

I used to hate driving an artic into London but I enjoyed my trip to the Natural History Museum and the V&A Museum in 2019 .
Yes, huge difference between going into the city for work as opposed to a day exploring, the Nat history museum is a marvel.
last time i went up was with my wife to apply for her new fili passport--why on earth cant it be done online ?
They don't have a city like any European city and that is hardly surprising given their colonial history. There are small remnants of history spread around the country but much was destroyed in the capital in 1945 and elsewhere. I don't see anything so special about London, when I was much younger I went to see it and see the standard sights, including the Science museum and the Natural History museum, I found the underground system to be a marvellous toy great fun and yeah I got to see the sights, but the whole place was cold and emotionless, it's not a friendly city in my opinion. I've been down a few times since the late 1980s most recently in February, I couldn't wait to escape it again, and just for fun Hammersmith and Fulham council fined me £135 for an unmarked left turn into a residential area, that was so nice of them, I'd only had the car 40 minutes and was simply trying to escape the madness that is 20 mph London, the turn was advised by my sat nav on my phone, I had no idea where I was or of there local money making scheme, this is not ULEZ or the congestion charge area I paid the congestion charge just in case I had entered the area and thought that would be it, but no. I would visit it again but I tend to side with Dom on this one.
People often don’t visit the likes of Camden Town, Billingsgate, Canary Wharf when they visit London and miss out on the experience of these areas.
