Asawa has purchased the above app off Google Play. She seems to have mastered quite a few of the subjects/questions relatively quickly. I bought her the paperback book some months ago but she hasn't really used it. The convenience of the app whilst looking after the bairn and toddler seems to suit her better though she does say she will refer to the book once she feels proficient. The proof is in the pudding of course but when test time comes im sure she should do fine. As i say only had the app 2 days and going off her pass rate she seems more British than me now Anyhow £4.99 and she recommends it.
My wife bought the book and studied it for ages. Just didn't seem to work for her. I bought a few CD's with sample tests and she seemed much more comfortable so I bought more. She also spent time with the online sample tests too. This method suited her learning style much more. It got to the stage where she would pass the sample tests 100% That was the time she entered for the test at the local college and passed without problem. It's multiple choice answering so that also helps to prompt a correct answer. Very best of luck to her. It's one of the challenges that must be overcome. It's a bit like the driving test in that it can be taken as many times as needed. Just a matter of the increasing costs.
My wife has a couple of years before needing this, but has started reading the book from time to time and doing a few online sample tests. She was really interested on the history, but when it got to politics and sport she got less interested and stopped reading it. What's the app? Is it the title of the thread?
Yes the title of the thread. There are free ones on Play but she decided to buy. The cost is nothing if that works foe asawa of course. My wife has a while to go too but she wants to get it out the way. Once taken, it isnt time limited is it?
I'm a bit wary of her taking it too early in case they decide to change it again. We'll probably look to getting it done in the final year of FLR.
