The current trend is telling me that it will be much the same after the election and my wife will still be sat here with me for the next few years regardless of who comes to power :)

The only difference is, there will be a couple of million more immigrants here in a few years :)

No doubt, because I disagree with your misguided assertions you will be calling for me to be banned next. Same as before.

You and a number of others on hear dont like anyone putting them straight on UKIP and its lunacy. So you resort to hunting in packs to try and ram your misguided idealogy down my throat and if not then a call for a ban becomes the ultimate outcome.
Are you sure this isnt an anti immigration forum as you four sure make it come across as such.

I know its difficult, but just focus on the current trends in the opinion polls. How many MPs guys?

    Zero?
    One?
    Two?

    Wow. Influential or what?

You think people on here "hunt in packs".
Have you ever thought about how many people on here just don't agree with you.
    It is that simple.

Its obvious who do not agree with you on immigration, Europe and UKIP. Although you are a disproportinate number, you are still in a minority on this forum.

More to the point, you are indeed in a small minority.

If everyone you talk to is pro UKIP then you are obviously talking to a narrow group of narrow minded people.

People on here report you for using personal insults, you have resorted to these many times. Nobody has ever asked for you to be banned.

Now, do consider, realistically, UKIPs chances of bursting through the dizzy hights of 2 MPs and then how about coming back to this thread with a sensible answer.

Not only do you know how many seats parties will have, you also know where forum members will put their crosses.
    Very talented

Even though no other party is proposing to adopt the Australian points-based system which inherently favours those with ties to the country? You amaze me!

In a 'first past the post' system we have, seats is but one measure and a poor one at that. A far more complete picture of national attitude will be given by each party's share of the vote. Ukip had NO MPs until last summer and yet have kept immigration as a hot topic throughout the Parliament.

Exit polls the other night showed UKIP level with the Tories and Labour, all on 21% !
    How do you explain that?

This is getting tedious. Opinions are like arseholes - everyone has one. Rarely does talk about anything political result in anything positive or change anyones ideals. I suggest putting this thread to bed before it all kicks off proper. Personally I thought it was quite an interesting thread at the start but its has gone round in predictable ever decreasing circles. Keep your opinions to yourselves till after the election then who ever was right can put a :p and we can move on. I'm now bored of this thread and have better things to do with my time

He can't, Mike. He's like the Duracell Bunny - he goes on and on and on and on about Ukip. Wish someone would take his batteries out :D.

We all have our chosen political party preferences from May, I've made no secret of my desire from Labour Party governing from and then left of centre. And you could all disagree with me, which is fine, we will all vote which ever way we choose.

However, when parliament gets back together the One political party that may be the only party to have enough Parliamentary seats to even consider running a government is looking more likely to be in labour..

This could all change within the next month, there could be a Conservative surge in the polls. And despite the rhetoric, there is not one single party that would not consider a coalition with a party that other political parties consider with disdain.

Labour would consider a coalition with the Scottish Nationalists and other left-wing parties within the UK, The Conservatives would easily go back into a coalition with the Liberal Democrats that also allowed for northern Irish parties to join their coalition.

As for UKIP, I think if they could easily get three sitting members of parliament in May, not enough to prop up a Conservative coalition, but enough to make their points known.

I think they will do better than the Green party, who will only have maybe one or two seats at the most. I don't see the recent surge in Green party membership as bums on seats!

Weirdly, I can see a Labour Party coalition that is propped up by Scottish Nationalists and Liberal Democrats trying to keep the centre ground, Tim Farron might find himself a serious player soon, but I think that Nick Clegg Will probably lose his seat and simply become The former leader of the Liberal Democrats.
