Sadly I think this critical message on climate change is being diluted in this instance by the pawning of Greta, I blame her parents, but also those like you suggest are using her situation and health for their agenda. What she did leading the classroom rebellions was the level she should of stayed at, it was after all making headline news. Putting her on the world stage to be in some instances ridiculed or pitied deflects away from the crucial message. IMO

This fascination with a young girl by those on both sides of the climate change debate is incredibly weird.

Climate change is far more important than everything else as everyone will be affected, so if Greta is "being used", so be it. It will be future generations who will be affected in a big way....
