I know from reading other posts on getting married in the Philippines that you will have enough time to get married in the t, having said that none of us know exactly when baby will arrive :)

    Good luck.

    Hi Leslie,
I took my docs from the UK and went to the Philippines.
My wife and I organised everything and married (civil wedding, not church) in 4 weeks.
    Hope this helps.

Babies don't arrive when you expect, as you know!

We did it in just over 2 weeks. That is from my departure in the UK to arrival back in the UK was 2.5 weeks. It needed some forward planning to do that and a little assistance. I could only get that amount of time off work, at the time.

    It was a civil wedding.

There has been some changes to the requirements on the requirement for a CNI. I had to arrange my CNI before I left for the Philippines. This seems to be no longer a requirement.

We found out what we needed to know by visiting VFS in Makati and the UK Embassy.

You (future hubby) will have to make a trip to the UK embassy too, for the affirmation or affidavit. See below.

    Hi Leslie,

    1) Please see the link in post #8 :like:

    2) He will need to go to the registry office in the UK.
