My internet produced statements are identical to posted ones in colour layout and with the registered business detail at the bottom I had heard that some banks wouldn't stamp them and I believe in paperless albeit that you need to go to paper for the 6 months.
I emailed my building society and asked them to draft a letter by e mail confirming the above and put a sample statement on the attachment this they did ,this we submitted along with 6 months statements (did it both times for wifey's and 1 time for daughter) and the rest as they say "is history" There has been a member on here that submitted the internet ones and was successful, I have an opinion that as long as the are letter headed and the Company registration info is at the bottom UKBA are happy if the statements are ragamuffin presentation then this will not do.
    Hope this helps.

    Thanks once again guys!

Any problems with me going home and making the application on my wife's step daughter's behalf? They stay in Manila and attend the bio and then I can be at home to print off bank statements with stamp etc and send to Sheffield from the UK?

    Thanks

    Dave

i think most of us make the application on our partners behalf. just give her the e mail details and password for the application--so you can both see it--and fill it in.

No issues I can think off. She has to print copy of application forms to take with her to VFS and sign there. So long as can do that in Manila then should be ok.

Hi, I am filling out my spouse Visa form for me and my son.
Do I have to submit the same financial form for my son as the one I’m filling out for myself? Because if I do that answering the question for my son is impossible.

Filling the financial form out for me as the mother is not the problem.

Do I just photocopy the form once I have completed it so there are 2 copies 1 for my son and 1 for me.

How do they know how much you earn those each year exactly? Yeh your sending 6 month bank statements to them...but the least you can earn is £16k...and then have £16k I'm savings? So how.can they tell just off 6 months payslips?

    no--youre wrong.

minimum salary required is £18,600. a year.

if you need to combine with savings--the £16,000 is the threshold
    for example--suppose you are £1000 a year short in salary--then you need savings of £1000 X 2.5 = £2500 PLUS £16,000 = £18,500.

    -------------------------------------------------------

as regards 6 months pay slips--that is if your salary is the same each month. if it varies you need 12 months worth. its up to you to prove you meet or exceed the £18,600 required.

We filled out the forms as if each applicant was answering them with me as sponsor for wife and her children. Some of questions seem a bit strange answering as if you are you the child but the forms do in part 1 ask if the sponsor is spouse, fiance or "I am under 18 and the sponsor is in a relationship with my parent" so I believe they are asking for individual forms for you and your son assuming your husband is sponsoring both of you which he should be.

Seems strange to fill 2 forms out. My son is 8 and the answers would be identical

Did you successfully get your spouse and children?

I mean you filled the financial requirement form out for each of them?

Malcolm, if your Salary varies, you still only need 6 months of pay slips..

Salaried employment is paid at a minimum fixed rate (usually annually) and is subject usually to a contractual minimum number of hours to be worked.

I think they are both the same requirement, its just that one has fixed hours, and the other has variable hours..

Was successful in getting wife and two step children visas on first attempt. Everyone arrived here this month so been sorting out all the admin tasks like schools and doctors and council tax etc.

Filled out three forms with each being slightly different depending on circumstances with regards to first meeting them as met all three at different times as oldest child was staying with wife's parents originally although by time we applied for visas they were all living together and house was my base when visiting philippines.

I did all of the visa application paperwork as everyone was here in UK for six months on marriage and visitor visas and went back as family in sept to do spouse and children application so went to VFS global in Manila with everyone and then took visa supporting papers back with me to UK to post while they stayed in Philippines until we got visa in January.

I wrote the financial requirements forms as even I was spouse or child detailing relationship to sponsor (me).

The form is about financial requirements but also covers relationship side and link to sponsor so that element is different for each member of family.

I believe that she has no father on birth certificate which is ideal solution and had him with her on recent visit to UK going back through some of threads where she posted questions before.

oh--right. seems ideal then if the childs father is non existent.. too bad for those kids who depend on their mother for their livlihood--whilst the father sits sits around all day drinking coffee with his thumb up his bum and his brain in neutral. in other words another dependent on the mothers pay packet.

    Correct.
You only need 12 months pay slips if you have been with your current employer 6 months or less at the time of application.
    It's covered under appendix2 para 5.1
