Humm. I should've known you'd say something similar to that and overdo it. Typical overconfidence. :p But let it be known that I only have Chris in my mind and heart all day all night.

We had a big fight yesterday because of this thread though, opposing views, I'd say. But he's always quick with reaching out.

Okay beautiful, whatever you say. Tell Chris to be careful though, I inherited my father's tendencies to steal things pleasing to the eye.

Well, that's Filipino-Western relationship for you. But from my romantic experience, though probably short compared to the others here, if you're not fighting with your loved one, then it means you don't care for each other. Apathy is the death of everything.

Relationship is supposed to be mutually-beneficial like the thread title. For things to be beneficial, both parties have to agree.

Baliw. Stop picking on me Andrew.

I guess. Yeah, He accepted my opinion and I won't accept his. He was expressing his views and I was forcing mine on him. He wanted to stop the argument but I wouldn't back off. Errrr :cat: and in the end I was the one upset and he felt horrible he made me feel that way.

I don't think I can tell you what he thinks of this one. It's sensitive. But he mentioned about you having a great point. I don't know what that point exactly is.

Me neither. :) And even if I did once have a point, to be honest I've almost lost the will to try and explain it ....

Seven page thread, nothing wrong with that :like:

Whole point is to communicate even if people don't all agree! :)

There is something very sinister about your poll and your sincerity I find... We all know that you have an end game which I doubt will be executed here on this forum.
Please stop trying to delve into things of which you have no comprehension or which you will ever have any capability of understanding..
This is not the Jeremy Kyle show.

Knightstrike... Dont let him reel you in.
    Bahala ka jan!

What a strange remark. I didn't know what the Jeremy Kyle show was. I had to look it up. Glad you're a fan though. Please feel free to ignore me and this sinister poll. Peace of mind is but a mouse click away.

This thread is taking another strange turn.

I think this may be because the subject is one that few of us are quite comfortable with.

Some say love it is a river
    That drowns the tender reed
Some say love it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed

Some say love it is a hunger
    An endless, aching need
I say love it is a flower
    And you its only seed

Its the heart afraid of breaking
    That never learns to dance
Its the dream afraid of waking
    That never takes the chance

Its the one who wont be taken
    Who cannot seem to give
And the soul afraid of dying
    That never learns to live

When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long
And you think that love is only
For the lucky and the strong

    Just remember in the winter
    Far beneath the bitter snow
Lies the seed that with the sun's love
In the spring, becomes the rose

You love who you love it doesn't need rhyme or reason

At least one good thing that has come out of the thread and thats our undying love for the Philippines and its people.

You're right about the subject matter, its a bit of a touchy subject bordering on some of our lively political debates which I enjoy.

At the end of the day "its everyone to their own" we should all know by now that we aren't going to change anybody's opinions here.

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no; it is an ever-fixed mark,
    That looks on tempests, and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
    Within his bending sickle's compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
