thats great no issue with that did they provide all the materials? Reason im asking if i do it and have books left over someone else can have them afterwards. Scribd.com may have some materials already for viewing.

Well, my course provider put on lunch, tea coffee and biscuits, course reading material and a limited amount of paper. But I cant speak for any of the other course provider. Mine was in a hotel in Aberdeen. They also included a few past papers.

Mine will no doubt be in the West Midlands somewhere got the home study stuff ready to go just haven't signed off on anything yet until I see my work flow. E.g. off to Canary Wharf Monday for 2 weeks.

I simply assume that my partner could not possibly do what she does in the Philippines (she's an actors' agent in the Philippines film industry) in the UK, but she is hard working and nobody's fool and she will find something

I suspect that English actors and actresses have English agents to deal with English producers and directors! And being in merchant shipping I am not exactly part of that world, here. We met when she walked up to me in a bar, told me I was "gwapo" and gave me her phone number ;) (it was a tapas bar and the phone number was on her business card, she was looking for foreign extras, but the story sounds better the way I tell it!) To be absolutely accurate, she really wanted to recruit the mate I was out with!

But I am sure she will find something that involves organizing people and dealing with bureaucracy!

My husband did NEBOSH in 10 days and it was tough!

I was wondering the same thing about getting certificates so I can qualify for a job easily when we move to the UK. Though I am leaning on getting a GIA certificate.

    It is tough.

I dont know if i have this right but I thought I read about a Filipina sitting and passing the NEBOSH certificate in the Philippines.

Later.....I think she took it here in the UK once she had moved here with her Spouse Visa.

Just paid for distance learning (as a refresher) and the exam fees. My employer has said he will pay for that. Done.
