She irritates me almost as much as Clegg and Farron, :)

Scotland have their own decision to make regarding another referendum, what worries me about Sturgeon is the fact she appears to be blinkered towards an independent Scotland at all costs. They are lucky in one respect that us south of the border will more likely than not bail them out if they get into any difficulty.

I can see one big problem if Scotland votes for independence, we will have no eastern Europeans to rebuild Hadrian's wall for us :)

I'm not sure why anyone thinks answering points I have put across politely merits a response such as the one above. No, I am not taking medication. I am merely making a prediction. Globalisation has been the dominant force of the last 71 years. Once the isolationists have had their decade in power, globalisation will continue because that is where people find greater benefits. My prediction is that, in 300 years time, there will be fewer borders on the planet. Particularly as people will be forced to migrate from the equator because of global warming. In fact, the Syria conflict has some roots in the migration of people forced to flee farms and head to cities because climate change killed agriculture. There will be periods of conflict in the next 40-100 years, followed by a gradual acceptance that it is better to get along.

Your beef appears to be with Eastern Europeans who you have been quite happy to stereotype as poorly educated, poorly trained people who add nothing to the "British culture" (that you have so far neglected to explain what that is). Someone else's beef is likely to be the number of Asians coming into the country, of which your wife is one. I find your stereotyping of Eastern Europeans mildly offensive and fairly illogical. No doubt you'd be even more incensed if someone came on here and started attacking us all for marrying Asian women. That's the point I am trying to make, some may see you as being hypocritical for bemoaning immigration whilst contributing to immigration. Imagine if you were just in the process of bringing across your Filipina wife and the UK Government said "That's it, drawbridges are up - no more immigration. Plus, those immigrants who are here had better be skilled workers or they'll have to leave. Doesn't matter if they are your wif

I doubt that my views would interest you, but I've always been taught to be polite and answer any questions asked. The answer is that the UK does NOT allow everyone who wants to come to the UK into the UK. Maybe a check of this forum for failed visa applications will offer you some clue to that.

Not sure what point you are making there, other than you would not employ a foreigner. That's your choice, but I'd be daft if I didn't consider all applicants to any vacancies that I have in my business. And I don't underpay people simply because they are foreign - they get the same wage as anyone else.

And you end as you start, with a disparaging comment about me (let's portray Bluebird as a boring pisshead, that'll get people on my side). As my posts require you to abuse substances, I can only recommend that you place me on ignore for your own health.

The Court process (oddly, David Davies MP was in agreement with it, until he changed his mind on becoming a minister) is not a method being used to thwart/stop Brexit. It has been brought to Court because Theresa May is circumnavigating the British constitution that matters of such high importance should be discussed with the entire Parliament.

So, if work dried up in your town you'd stay there? Or would you move to find work?

What's the difference between someone moving from Manchester to Edinburgh for work, moving from Manila to Hereford to get married to a rich foreigner, or moving from Warsaw to Margate to set up a retail unit? You can argue in each case that the only reason the person is moving is for purely selfish reasons.

From what I can gather he is already a migrant worker, it's just that he's a first world migrant worker and that seems to somehow sit squarely in his head, 'do as I say, not as I do', authoritarian anyone?

A first world migrant worker yes, not wanting his country turn into a third world one.

Ah, but he is better trained than every Eastern European out there.

Next you'll be telling me that the proud Brit that started this thread is living outside the UK and on a remote island in the EU.

I don't need a crystal ball, common sense and my eyes alone tells me that uncontrolled immigration into the UK is turning certain areas of the UK into a third world country.

I must say I really enjoy our political debates here on Brexit and related topics, we always have time out to enjoy a few lighter moments and that's the way it should be.
