Ah, he wants Blut und Eisen*. He wants to "bloody" my nose. In other words, to punch me in the face. Typical of the forces of darkness and reaction.

He occupies a moral swamp, infested with people who consider themselves superior because of their wealth, because their parents paid for their schooling, because of their accent, because of their skin colour, because of their fecklesss ignorance and unteachability.

Yes, we are better than you. We are nicer people than you. And of course you hate that.

    * "The position of Prussia in Germany will not be determined by its liberalism but by its power [...] Prussia must concentrate its strength and hold it for the favorable moment, which has already come and gone several times. Since the treaties of Vienna, our frontiers have been ill-designed for a healthy body politic. Not through speeches and majority decisions will the great questions of the day be decided—that was the great mistake of 1848 and 1849—but by iron and blood (Eisen und Blut)."

Funny that, those are traits one associates with Liberal elitists such as Nick Clegg (a multi-millionaire) and John Hemming of your party who's worth five times as much as Clegg. Then there's Cameron (around £25 million), Osborne (£4.5 million), Philip Hammond (£8.2 million) and William Hague (£4.8 million). Finally for Labour there's Lord Sainsbury (£400 million), Tony Blair (£30 million), Margaret Hodge (£18 million) and Geoffrey Robinson (£10 million). What do they all have in common with you and themselves?

That depends on how you define "better" and "nicer", mine would be the OED's, and whether "better" and "nicer" people spew insults and hate-filled bile at those whose opinions are at variance with their own. And people who truly do occupy a moral high ground see no need in reminding everyone else of that ;)

Say it clear, say it loud.

We are proud of not being proud!

    Human dignity is unimpeachable.

You will learn, if even we were teachable!

    love it.

You know why I find it so funny, it is such a precise arrow directed at the heart of your argument, that entire video for all of its 10 seconds of expletives (my revision, I checked, the little girl used the 'f' word five times and the 'c' word once in 27 seconds :)) is directed at the hate you pretend to despise, there was no hate in that video there was anger yes and a great many of your fellow citizens share that anger sir.

There is a great deal of symbolism in that child saying those words, the child represents the future delivering the message that the past has failed, in the context of the view of the good people (us as we see ourselves ;)) of course you might imagine that you are also 'good people' but is that not the essence of politics and civil co-existence?

Two Liberal Germans, in the company of a Liberal Filipina, intent on spying out the secrets of the Fish and Chip Trade and taking them back to Flensburg!
