I have to call in to the hairdresser here, tomorrow and ask how much. I dont think I will be able to keep a straight face.
The other process called rebonding, so popular in PI yet very few places seem to do that here. You have to search quite hard to find a hairdresser that will do it.
you can find it anywhere here. rebonding is much lower in cost, brazilian includes hair color with streaks, that makes it expensive, it's now very popular here but not affordable.
We haven't found a place here on the Isle of Man that does rebonding. Is the Brazilian Blow Out a different process?
Yep I seen rebounding everywhere when in Cebu. When I googled here I found just a few places that do it. I think they were both in London and high end salons
Is this a real question lol. If so, I've had Brazilian blowdrys. They do work pretty well. Bit of a lengthy process - they have to apply the stuff to your hair in small sections, heat it, repeat etc. Alternatively you can buy a kit, which I've done also (from Amazon) - that worked pretty well too, although it's a bit of a faff. You have to use special shampoos and conditioners afterwards as well - no sulphates - or they take the Keratin back out of the hair (which is what you've added).
Yes. A real question. To explain. My wife and some Filipinas can and do have their hair "rebonded". This is a lengthy process whereby the hair is super straightened for a semipermanent amount of time and tinted if wanted. It looks fantastic if done well. But there have been issues with the chemicals involved in the process. Here in the UK it is hard to find salons that do it. But then it does suit Filipina hair. So....my wife discovered Brazilian Blow Outs just recently. Seems to give a similar result. They use Keratin at this salon. Yes.
Yeah that sounds about right. A brazilian blowdry is better for the hair than rebonding I think, because it doesn't break the hair and it's adding Keratin which improves it, but tell her to use sulphate-free stuff afterwards or the effects won't last. Go to a good salon too because there is a difference in the quality of the product they use.
Unfortunately we dont have a big choice of salons here. But we will try one or two others and shop around. I did mention about the after treatments. Thanks.
It should last 2 or 3 months - mine used to last well but maybe it depends a bit on the hair? I think rebonding lasts a fair bit longer than that but I'm not sure - don't know much about it.
Yes. I think rebonding lasts a bit longer. My wife had hers done last, back in the Philippines, just before she flew here. It looked really good.
