My sister has been there twice (couple of decades apart) she said it was expensive, I would quite like to see it too.

She keeps talking about Finland and Norway at Christmas. I am trying to shift across to Iceland instead. :D

Good point. That was another reason my wife wanted to visit Norway and Finland. I can add that to a list of reasons to visit Iceland instead.

Although not cheap in Iceland I think it is less expensive then Finland and Norway. Friends had gone in November and had amazing northern lights experience.

Went to Yosemite but couldn't find Sam.

My next big adventure will be to take the family down to Tierra del Fuego to travel around there and then to go over to Torres del Paine National Park in Chile.
The big problem is convincing the wife that we will enjoy the cold down there

Of course, one of the pitfalls with marrying a Filipina is that it is very expensive to visit the Philippines regularly with all the family in tow.
Maybe my next big adventure will be visiting the Philippines again

    I can only dream:

I was reading a big article about Iceland last week.
It seems that all the photographers are going there en masse these days - it is not as quiet as before.
There must be so much space to explore there, off the beaten track, though.

I wouldn't mind going to Iceland to paramotor, theres a few companies offering trips,or just rock up with your own motor and wing, this video is mind blowing, the scenery from above is off the scale,so many places so little time.

A very old song has just prompted me to think about Cuba as a visit.

One of the last persons in this world I would follow, even worse than Oliver...........

    Ambassadors of Italian Cuisine

    1 Gennaro Contaldo
    2 Antonio Caluccio (deceased)
    3 Valentina Harris
    4 Giovanna Eusebi

Aldo Zilli........... To a certain extent

Apart from Carluccio and Oliver, I have personally met and spoke with the above named people on several occasions over the years.

He is unashamedly photoshopped on every occasion.

Plus he talks with a fake accent. Contrived to say the least.
Put up to sound from a different region of Italy from where he originates.

And I also noticed that his two years spent at Her Majesty's Pleasure are not mentioned on his Wiki page anymore.... strange..
