Check the labelling on the reverse first.

Yes that is a good video illustrating Tim Spector's views properly although this particular twin comparison was done with a vegan vs meat diet Tim Spector does not specifically promote either, he is more about the variety of foods and including a broad range of plants to improve gut health, which he sees as also being instrumental in controlling blood sugar.

GPs and health practitioners that are having huge successes with their patients when it comes to adverse metabolic health advocate a meat and dairy based diet - higher protein and animal fat and restricted carbohydrates. There are GPs that work in areas of the U.K. that have a high percentage of their patient population on vegan type diets for religious reasons. When it comes to solving their metabolic ill health (drug free) it’s a harder nut to crack however it’s the same message ie lay of carbs which of course is harder to do on a vegan diet.

There is of course quite a lot of negativity on carb restriction but the key point here (as I said to Oss a few weeks ago) at surgery level there are a number of GPs that are proving the point. They record their results and publish them. The results are there for all to see. Tim Spectre works in collaboration with these GPs and they with him and there are massive areas of agreement between them simply because evidence based medicine doesn’t lie.

Mrs Ash went out and bought some meatballs in the shopping a few days back. She didn’t read the label. They were vegetarian meatballs made out of peas or something similar. They tasted awful. They still called them meatballs though.

I eat a lot of these over the weeks, they are very tasty:
I wish they sold them for breakfast too.

They won’t be helping your metabolic health. Very poor quality calories even if they do taste good. Had you considered all the additives they don’t mention?

The decision for me is that plant-based is better than non-plant-based.
    It is a simple choice.

You sound like you have a food addiction problem there.

The Public Health Collaboration are releasing their conference videos this week. Today it’s Food Addiction Tomorrow it’s “Should We Be Vegan?”

As I said before, John, the decision for me is that plant-based is better than non-plant-based.
It is a simple choice and one that I make during the week.

Why don't you post before and after photos of yourself so we can see the benefits of your dietary knowledge and new-found experience?

Why don’t you post photos of yourself sitting in your truck after a McPlant?

How stupid your post is. I don’t mind helping people but not when they are clearly ridiculous.

I cannot believe how stupid you are.

I will post this though as if you are a food addict and it sounds like you are, then have a listen to these Food Addiction videos and learn (if you can).

You clearly have a food addiction problem and like all addicts find it difficult to shake off.

Some of us here post health-related things in reply to your posts but you then reply to their comments ad-infinitum.
Not only that but you often don't even wait for a reply before you post again in reply to your own posts.
It stops you getting bored I guess :lol::lol:
