I've never heard of the comparison between a Filipina and Rolls Royce before but I can tell you the running costs are quite high Seriously though, the running costs are quite low, that's what I've found anyway, especially if they can find a reasonable job when they come to the UK.
Settlement 2.5 year £200 Per year and a bit for the months. Also, must be paid with the application submission, or they throw it out! Application that is. http://www.ukvisapartners.com/?p=1220 These people have a bit on the subject and .gov.uk
@bigmac The IHS Surcharge is £600 for a settlement visa of 2.5 years. You can check this here... https://www.immigration-health-surcharge.service.gov.uk/checker/Summary But you then have to pay in Dollars at whatever exchange rate the UK Government uses. I think if you pay by credit card there is an additional percentage fee to pay.
Correct Howerd, and if the applicant was already in the UK for example applying for the second leave to remain the surcharge would only be £500 for 2.5 years, confusing eh
£500 at FLR(M) when applying from inside the UK Just use the calculator that Howerd posted and enter different scenarios, applying inside/outside UK for example.
