My fiancée got her birth certificate and CENOMAR yesterday after applying on-line via the e-census website...

    https://www.ecensus.com.ph/Default.aspx

The CENOMAR cost 415 Pesos and the birth certificate 315 Pesos and that included delivery to a Philippine address. My fiancée had them both sent to her work address. They arrived in separate packages even though ordered at the same time. Strictly speaking she would have been required to show her ID to get the birth certificate but a manager signed for the birth certificate and the CENOMAR was left with the security guard.

Just interesting to note that it was me who filled out the on-line application for the documents, here in the UK, in my fiancée's name. So don't be deterred if your IP address is not in The Philippines! It is not possible to pay on-line for the documents (unless they are being posted overseas) You just go to a bank with a print-out of what is e-mailed to you once your order is placed and hand it (and the money) to the teller. You can also pay by on-line bank transfer or at an ATM with some banks.

The LCR in Cebu also want sight of my CENOMAR so I applied for this on the e-census website too (in my fiancée's name) for delivery to her work address. It is possible to have documents delivered overseas but they are sent surface mail and a CENOMAR would cost 25 US Dollars and would probably take up to 8 weeks to arrive. If you have the document sent overseas the only way to pay is on the e-census website; unfortunately, the on-line payment system simply does not work, so get your fiancée in the Philippines to accept delivery instead!

Apart from being unable to pay on-line for delivery overseas, the application process is quite simple, well explained and trouble-free.

Thx Howerd! Few months from now me and my fiancé will do the same process as what you and your fiancée doing...your post here is a great guide.

But I have a concern....we are almost same as on your case, he will visit me first time few mos. before our wedding next year. Btw,we are in the relation more than 2yrs.he don't met me,coz he had a serious illness. But thank God, he is very well now and healthy. I already talked with other member here, and told my story. He said, the UKVI will find it grounds on issuing a spouse visa or maybe will think tsk a set up marriaged.which made me bother.bcoz Accdg. To hi only few mos. of interval before getting married. I am hoping they will not think of that on us and also I the future application of your wife.
Btw,do you plan too to apply spouse visa for you wife, right after marriaged?

Remember, you only need to have met once to establish a relationship in order to get a visa! If you can demonstrate that you have been in regular contact for two years I don't think you have to much to worry about. By the time your visa application is made, you will have met at least twice!! Just make sure you husband can meet the financial requirements, otherwise you could be stuck in the Philippines with perhaps no way of settling in the UK.

I too have not met my fiancée because of illness and the fact my house was flooded by a tidal surge last year, just days after I started chatting with her on the internet. I did meet her sister though, when I was in the Philippines nearly five years ago.

I also recently joined Facebook and, rather quickly, I have gained new 'friends' from my fiancée's church. When she submits her spouse visa application (as soon as possible after getting married) she will include our Facebook profiles. When I visit in December we will hold engagement party as well as food-testing for the wedding itself and take lots of photos of that of course in support of the application. I will also be attending church with her every Sunday I am in The Philippines and we will take photos of that too - and wearing different clothes on each occasion for the benefit of the camera and that visa application again.

Nice to hear from you Howerd! Yeah, I think as long as we can prove that we are in real rela. For two years, everything will be fine. I am thinking maybe can include his medical records and hospital confinement and treatment, to prove why he was not here with in the period of two years, maybe it will satisfy them to believe and convince.

I hope I can hear from you from the first day of visa application...coz it will help me a lot, when it's my time already. Many thx!
