When applying for spouse visa should another biometrics test be taken?

My fiancé is already here in the UK. We are now married and about to apply for the spouse visa. As part of her fiancé visa she carried out her biometrics while in the Philippines. Does she need to do another biometric when applying for the spouse visa? I have read some things that seem to suggest she might have to do this, but I might be interpreting it wrong.

@Dan888 Congratulations to you both as far as I know it's part of the visa application to provide your documents and enrol your biometrics
(fingerprints and facial photograph), throughout my visa journey I always had to visit the UKVCAS to enrol my biometrics .Recently I just had my ILR. Anyway Good luck on your wife's visa application .

Yes, I believe your wife will have to do her biometrics again for the spouse visa. Congratulations and good luck. My wife and I have just started our journey, she arrived in UK in May but we got married in Philippines.

Wife switched to EU settlement scheme so not totally comparable. She had to do biometrics when applying to the EU scheme but for the change to settled status there wasn't a requirement to redo biometrics - just used the phone app that they have for EU settlement scheme applications.

Know during COVID there was a push to reuse biometrics but not sure if that continued.
