Ok thank you for your help so far.I am very excited as we are nearly ready to apply i have worked here six months to meet the finicial requirement.

I now have all my documents to give my wife all six month payslips and bank statements, housing documents, but we are not ready to apply as she needs to pass the ielts in may.

So when we apply is there an application I need to sign and post to her?.

Can i send her my stuff now and when she passess the test we can book the interview and she will be ready to hand it all . Is there a long.wait to be.interviewed?

Its just the sponsership form i need to print and send her?

Hi Richey I believe there can be no more than 30 days difference between the last wage slip you receive and the day you submit the application.

No need to send to the filis...You send documents to Sheffield now...After she does the online application form...Which means after she does the ielts . Has she got her TB cert yet ?

You can now have the choice to send the documents to Sheffield or avail the scanning service at the VFS. The former would mean your wife would send her documents to you and you will send all the documents to Sheffield. The latter, obviously, you will send your documents to your partner in the Philippines and the VFS will do the scanning and submit the documents to UKVI on your behalf.

Well i have my.documents ready and she.does not, so it makes sense to send themto.her.

But most things can be scanned to her, my.question is when i fil put the application is there anything.to send her?

I dont want to send my.tenancy agreement, property report, pay slips, bank statements, to find out i need to pay for delivery of.more.items when she has passed the tb and english test

As what I understand you need to send the latest or near latest financial information i.e. Wage slips and bank statements no older than 28 days old at time of submission of documents. I'm in similar position as you. I'm just waiting for my fiancées ielts exam result then she will send everything to me to submit here that way I will have all the latest financial documentation. Does your partner have date for TB and ielts test ?

I suggest send the documents when everything on her part is ready. Do remember that the financial documents are time sensitive so if you send it to her now and then there's a delay on her part (like getting the TB and English test) then you find yourself sending again the latest bank statement.

Your partner needs to print and sign the online application.

maybe i'm wrong--but surely he sends his stuff to sheffield--and she takes hers to vfs for scanning. that saves the long distance postal delays and possble loss.

Not wrong at all bigmac. That would be the best option actually. I was suggesting that to send the documents altogether but quite complicated.

Given what our government agencies are like I think better to submit all in one place rather than have them lost in the system and delaying the application.
I read somewhere that VFS scanning is only for 1 month while the transition to Sheffield takes place also.

As you don't need to send the documents to the Philippines why send them (I'm in the provinces here and to put it bluntly, they are f***ing useless when it comes to most things -postal service being a prime example) ?
