From Gov.Uk website it says ‘your certificate that you are free to marry under the law of your own country if you don't live in the UK’ That sounds like a CENOMAR to me but later it also says ‘If you live outside of the UK you need to get a certificate from your country to say there's no reason why you cannot be married. This needs to be given along with your marriage notice to the registrar at least 29 days before the wedding’ Does CENOMAR cover both these requirements? Please can you advise me what she would need to provide, thank you.
In so far as I'm aware the "Church registrar" you refer to is the local vicar, you need the local registry office where weddings take place https://www.gov.uk/marriages-civil-partnerships/plan-your-ceremony Yes it seems she would need Cenomar.
The CENOMAR you get for yourself and for your girlfriend. It is very easy to obtain, my wife got both when we needed them. This covers that you have not been married in the Philippines ONLY (ie you have never married a Filipina before) You therefore also need an affidavit to say that you are free to marry and are not married in your own country. Hope this makes sense.
