Befor leaving in September I sent a sorn notice off for my car and then later befor leaving for london cos you have to display right)my tax disc for 2 months refund Ive done this befor Looking through my mail they informed me nearly a month after posting that they cant refund without a sorn (but I sent it ) so I must pay the back tax (no f£%$ing chance) so they just automatically chase revenue if they had looked at my records they would have seen the pattern but through them loosing my sorn I now have to jump through hoops Its compounded in my view by it being impossible to drive without tax if your papers are up to date with all the cameras they would see the record but of course there isnt one since my motor was with my garage for the entire time
UK red tape this time - sheeeesh You need the car Keith, so make sure the MOT/Insurance is valid then get more tax while you're trying to sort out the red tape
It was of course insured as insurance companies dont let you suspend any more and I picked up the mot from my garage thursday night and taxed it for 6 months normaly i do a year but as im going to Portugal sep bugger them now ive got letters to write the muppets
