Wayne Rooney faces a two-match ban from the Football Association for using offensive language during Manchester United's 4-2 win at West Ham.

The United striker swore into a pitchside camera after completing his hat-trick at Upton Park.

The England international has until 1800 BST on Tuesday to launch an appeal against the FA charge.

I'm not a fan of his either.
Outbursts of rage are often learned behaviour, I don't think Ferguson is a good role model for him.:erm:

Wayne Rooney is a millionaire chav! No question about it.. But at the same time I do think they are making far more out of this than they should be doing. In fact, I do wish Manchester United would grow some balls and take this to the courts, it is up to Offcom to punish for lewd language on TV before the watershed, and he did apologize.

Seems more likely that the head of the FA, who is a former chairman of Manchester City, made this judgement for match bans just prior to the Manchester derby to make it easier for his old team:erm: Or at least that is how it looks:erm:

Neither is Rooney a good role model for our kids!!! Young people who idolise the likes of Rooney will go into the sport believing that swearing, spitting, and cheating are an acceptable part of the game. These overpaid idiots are actually contributing to the destruction of education in schools!!! - thus making our (teachers) jobs more difficult than they already are!!

'A wee man with a need to be noticed'

Sir Alex threw this little put down to the Police chief who said he would lock Rooney up if he had caught him on a public street...
