It won't matter. The sponsors bank statements are more important. When I applied last year I have 2 months bank statements that didn't even matter. You can still submit her 4 months bank statements but don't worry about it not being 6 months.

Agree Glen, the important bank statement is yours John, as you are the sponsor.

Tell them in the letter what you are paying for that ( I assume ) she will stay with You, you have paid for the airline tickets etc

Has anyone had problems getting documents back from VFS after application ??
a lot of our documents are with vfs and they approved visit visa but didn't return most of the documents

When we submitted our documents, VFS only kept copies not originals. The copies were not returned.

Thanks they kept nearly all documents except passport, some of which will be hard to replace for next application
seems certified notarised copies may be needed to avoid this

My partner got her visitors visa on 28 August, so she can come to me on 15 September for 9 days.

After that we will apply for Fiancé visa, that will take a further 60 days once application has been submitted.

Great to read you were successful, the financial part is confusing for me .Although I stated on my application that I would cover every part of my gf visit ( flights ,accommodation , spending money) etc and they accepted from my bank statements that I could, they still stated that as she wouldn't be able to afford the trip without my sponsorship, they do not think she will return home afte her one month visit . Maybe it's me , but I don't get it. Why would she need the money to pay for the trip when I am paying for it .? I'm confused , she does have some savings in the bank , but not enough to pay for flights .
