Today the Bureau of Immigration announced that visitors entering the Philippines under the Visa Waiver Scheme will be permitted to stay for an initial period of 30 days as from the beginning of August this year. This change only applies to Passport holders of some 150 countries who are currently granted an initial 21 days' stay, countries that include the UK.

    Whee heeee....!!!!!! :D

Finally, but being a churlish moaner why could they not have made it something decent like 90 days ;)

Saying that I can't take that much time off ever so it does not matter but I can take 30 days at Christmas, will be interesting to watch the airlines increase the price of 30 day return tickets :)

I could go home (yes for me that is home it's where my kids are) for 30 days for a price of 18 days annual leave at Christmas for 914 quid right now, sadly don't have the cash to buy the ticket :)
